FPS drop in virtual cockpit

Postby rechani » Sat May 15, 2010 6:57 am

Hi,

I've just bought the Abacaus Boeing 787-Dreamliner.And i'm having the following problem with it:

When i have a view from the outside of the plane I get 20FPS but once I have a camera view from the virtual cockpit or any other views INSIDE the plane, my FPS drop to 3-7 FPS and from that moment the FPS won't go up anymore. How can I fix this?

Hardware:
Dual Core 2.16Ghz
Nvidia 9500M gs 512mb
4 Gb Ram
OS Vista 32-bit

Please don't post pathethic comments like 'Abacus products suck'.

Thank you,
Rechani

Before you purchased the product, did you check to see if your Computer Specification could cope  with Freeware downloads of a similar Aircraft, with similar, highly complex, VC views?

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator... 8-)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Thanks for the reply.

Well, i downloaded some freeware add-ons, and i never experienced lagg with them.

But the strange thing is about the 787 is that if i put all settings to medium-high i don't have any lag from eg the locked spot, fly by,... It's just when I pick the virtual cockpit everything slows down to a few FPS.

I reinstalled the add-on but I still have the same problem...

Any ideas?
