Don't panic.
It's SimProbe that is causing those parachutes to appear ;)

Ahh - good, thanks! I could've sworn I took SimProbe out when I was looking for the issue; I must've missed it. Much gratitude! :)

Steve:
SimProbe is an app that samples the ground and weather conditions around your aircraft. It's a part of a larger app called 'CumulusX' that allows FSX to generate thermals and ridge lift for sustained glider flight. Plays hell with a Seminole on a crosswind approach, too.  ;D

Try changing the in-game date. This usually happens on the 24th December  ;)
