Weird Saitek Control problem

OK, I have the yoke and throttle quadrant (Saitek Pro Flight) and I have it set so that if it's a 2 or more engined plane, all the engines receive power equally. Now in the Space Shuttle (Fitzgerald) it only uses one engine. This means I have to liftoff in cockpit mode using the throttle with the mouse. Gets annoying sometimes.
All other twin engine planes work fine, addon and default.
This isn't a big deal but I was just wondering if anyone knew
