damaged air file

damaged air file

This  may be covered elsewhere in the forum but I can't locate it. Can anyone explain what a damaged AIR file is? I just tried to download Bret Henderson's beech and got that message after I clickedf the installation package in the file. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hagar   Once again, thanks for the helpful guidance, altho there is an installation package in the file I downloaded. At least, it's labelled as such. I'll check it again.

HAGAR  Just read posts you made on adobe. It explains why there is an "installation package" in Brett's download.
