Getting rid of REX clouds

Postby owensm74 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:34 pm

I installed REX a while back and after tweaking a finally admitted that my machine wasn't quite up to snuff to run it. So I uninstalled it and lo and behold the REX clouds are still there. No REX program, just the cloud textures and some other random textures. And no, I did not back up my originals like a good simmer would. I need to get rid of these clouds but don't know how. Anyone?

Can't you choose the cloud resolution in REX ?
I know they have high-res ones, but don't they offer 512x512 version too ?

REX contains the option to select 512X512 or 1024X1024 resolution Clouds.

If the "Cloud" load is too heavy, start the Sim and choose Clear Weather, or Custom Weather, and save the flight, and make it the Default Flight.
This will retain all the other installed REX effects, with your choice of clouds...!

(Re-load REX after selecting a Default Clear Sky, and and un-select Clouds?)... ::)...?

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Nav...REX for FS2004... 8-)...!
