multi player on windows 7

Anyone out there using windows 7 with multiplayer with out encountering problems. I can get to the server, but they cannot get back to me. I am using FSHostSpy 1.3.
Chat seems to be working, at least I can read the incoming messages. It seems like a firewall problem, or an incorrect IP address I am using somewhere. I am on a wireless router which uses a different IP than the one I show when I do IP config. Any help appreciated.
