Which Part?

Postby Flying Trucker » Fri Dec 25, 2009 8:02 am

Goodly morning all and a Very Merry Christmas.    :)

I saw in the Download Section the new Enviropacs.  There were seven (7) downloads.

Do I need to Download and Install all of them or does Part seven (7) give me everything?
I am running FSX and Vista.

Thanks in advance.    :)

Doug, you will need all 7 to make the whole download. I really don't know much else about it except what comes in the readme file. Be sure to save the items the readme talks about to another place first. I have the 7 parts on file but haven't put them to FSX. Let us know how it looks.

Good evening all on this Boxing Day in the Colony.   :)

Certainly do see a difference and a great difference, my hats off to all involved.   :)

Will try to post some pictures soon, but still have some company here from Christmas Eve who will be leaving tomorrow.
Thanks again to all who make this a wonderful hobby and past time.   ;)

Thanks Doug for the feedback, I'll be stuffing those files into my pc tomorrow. Tonight I have been trying to set up an old laptop as a second screen for gauges and such. It's almost to much for me!   ;D ;D

Good morning all... :)

I have done several short hops using "Nicks" suggested settings for FSX and what I have had to do is lower my Frame Rate Settings from "Unlimited" down to "Ten (10)".

I have a good machine with lots of memory so I am wondering if lowering the Frame Rate is normal?  If I don't the screen shows several black lines in flight and the picture is jumpy.

All in all I am happy with what I see right now and all seem to work fine.   ;)

I don't want to hijack Flying Trucker's thread, but could someone (w/said add-on installed) do me a favor?

Go to PHNG and (from top down view) look at the bay, and see if you're experiencing the same texture error that you see below.

This error just popped-up after I installed Explore Environment X, and I'm wondering whether or not I screw up the installation.

Btw, this is the only place I have seen this, but since this is my favorite airport is very annoying.

Have a Happy New Year Everyone!
