What happened to the Aircraft folder?

Yeah, yeah, it's now the SimObject\Airplanes folder.

Unfortunately, many FS9 aircraft with autoinstallers are set for the Aircraft folder...

so...?

ADD IT IN!

From my point of view, for a developer, this creates an additional folder to have one's "test" builds

For that matter, you can create additional folders - Props, Jets, Military,

I havent yet been able to install any aftermarket a/c. Posky's site says most of thier planes will work, but I tried to install the Lufthansa 747 and its not showing up.  :(  Any ideas's??

BTW, Im getting 15 FPS at KLAX so im not doin too bad.

I take it the entries you mention are in the Registry? I didn't find (yet) any place in the Registry where the items could be entered, please more specificity? Thanks!

BTW, taking a cue from Felix, I created a separate folder for my AI aircraft so they wouldn't be cluttering up my Airplanes folder...  ;)

When  create this folder (Aircraft) and drop some SAMDIM's Antonovs there, are they suppose to appear under aircraft menu inside the simulator??
If so, it ain't workin for me, did I miss somethin?

Here's my "Main"section that I've been using for a couple of years. Note that
"SimObject" folders can reside ANYWHERE as long as the path is defined here.
Plus, if you have no need for "Animals", all you need to do is comment out that
entry, as I have.
