FSX - saitek pro flight range

Postby Saitek » Fri Nov 13, 2009 5:11 pm

Hi all,
i know i haven't posted in ages.

Can someone tell me how I can get FSX to remember my assignments for FSX. It takes me 15 minutes to get it all set up and then despite me saving the flight when I quite the game it goes straight back to the idiotic and unflyable defaults.

My spec is:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E2180 2GHz
GA-P35-DS3L Intel P35
Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2) DDR2 6400C4 800Mhz
GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
2 x 22" monitors
200GB Sata
Be Quiet! Straight Power 650W

Flying FSX with Saitek's pro flight range:
Radio
Switch panel
Auto-pilot
yoke and throttle quad
pedals

Sounds odd. I haven't had any problems with the throttle quad, yoke or pedals.

Perhaps install everything again and check for updated drivers for Win 7.

Thanks for the reply. I finally got it sorted, after almost 3 hours on it! Was working before - but I recently installed Windows 7 and hadn't got the sim and equipment back up and running.

I also with the help of google managed to solve the annoying sticking brakes issues from the pedals. That was really driving me nuts. ::)

Glad you got it sorted and yes the brake thing is a pain but I didn't think to mention it as I was under the impression you'd had that aspect covered. :)

Anyway you're good to go. 8-)

Hello Saitek,
It would be great if you can bring to us, saitek pro flight line users, how you sorted it out. It will save us of driving nuts again as you did.
Thanks
Mario

Yes please, if you could tell us what you did.

I'm getting ready to purchase all three panel units, and already have the yoke and throttles. I'm interested in your situation.

What the sticky brakes issue?

I used to be on this forum a lot, but I'm not on as much anymore due to the real world!

If you want some help - just drop me a line simviationsaitek@gmail.com - but I'll be on over the next few days anyway.
