FSX will not start when connected to the internet?

Postby Daycab » Sat Oct 03, 2009 9:38 pm

Hi guys,

Like the title says.  I get the splash screen, but then it just hangs there until I disconneect from the internet and then it will start.  I don't have a firewall blocking it, so that can't be it.  Any idea?

Also, I don't know if it's connected, but when I try to listen to music, my connection gets dropped.  I am on dial-up...

Thanks in advance!

What he said, it sounds like real weather is trying to download the real weather info, so disable the weather updates and you should be fine.
