Is there a way to increase the sense of speed at l

At low altitude flight the senses of speed is real low, seems like if Im flying at 5mph.

Is there a way to increase the sense of speed at low elevation?

Eh... not really. You might seem to be going slow, but you're not at all :D

From the VC, a reason for the 'sense' of slow speed may be the result of the default zoom ratios, which are less than 1.0. Adjusting the zoom to 1.0 may increase the sense of speed, but restrict (narrow) your view of the panel.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Hmm I would have said the contrary. Zooming to 1.0 may feel slower, since what is distant appears bigger... When you zoom out to 0.50, the distant things are quite small, and the amount of details on the screen gets greater, so the sense of speed gets greater as well.

Yep, the more you open up the zoom, the faster you will seem to be going... It's the same principle used in racing games, where the FOV opens up as you hit the NOS
