Wierd scenery problem

I bought one of them FlyMex airport sceneries for northern Mexico and installed it without an issue.

But as soon as I fired up the sim I noticed that the resolution of the the terrain and aircraft alike plummet after only a few seconds.

This only happens inside or near airports. I droped a note to FlyMex but they were no help.
