Aircraft Add-Ons only show up white

Hello, Im new to this, and this topic may have already been posted, but I have Vista 64 bit and FSX with Acceleration, and I have tried adding on numerous freeware planes and messing around with textures and stuff but they always turn out blank when I open them in FSX. What am I doing wrong! Thanks, and I apologize if this is redundant topic.

also try turning off your "Bloom" in the settings menu

You know I had the same problem for different aircraft. I upgraded my video card yesterday and all of my aircraft that came out white or partially white worked just fine. So im thinking it was the video card!

What does everything think??  :)

If you can then try a different graphics card like Elroy13 said. Maybe borrow one if possible before splashing out the cash just to make sure

Im not the sharpest tool in the shd when it comes to all this pc stuff. thats why I have a good neighbor who's an I.T. dude...

He gave me another pc that had higher vid card than the pc I had from the start. But with out a certain spec of a vid card I couldnt install FSX Acceleration.  So he gave me a better vid card. Once the vid card was installed I wanted to see the difference from the old card. I uninstalled FSX cleaned it up & re-installed it. And SHAZAM!! Accel worked and downloaded a/c.

The funny thing is that I could download aircraft and some would be completely white without any textures. Other aircraft would look great but a tailwheel, flap or engine fan would be the only thing white with  no textures. Others load PERFECT!  So im glad to have the higher card!
