Could be your video card is chocking, especially TBM. Try setting to 70 or 80 and also cutting TERRAIN settings to around 3300.  Then maybe set Upper_Frame_Limit to 26.  (or 0 if you run the "Stutter" Tool.

I notice a similar problem when my system runs out of memory.  Maybe just turn down your traffic and see how that works out for you.

Oh, I didn't know you had it at 20% already.  That shouldn't be a problem.  I usually have to turn mine down to about 80% over populated airports so I don't run into trouble.  Hmm.  I'm sure Nick will be able to help.  He is the guru after all.

20-30% AI traffic is fine.. if you were clocking and pushing 3.8-4 I would say 40-50% would be OK too

none the less the default AI is hard on the system

Your crashes I am sure were do to very silly and off the wall, over the top tweaks

Then its time to start eliminationg drivers, the system and addons as a cause..

Make sure the drivers are up to date for the ATi card and if so then one by one addons need to be completely disabled. When the problem stops the last addon disabled is most likely the culprit

Now all this assumes the system is not having problems with the clock settings too. Being a Gateway, clocking a 920 can be problematical

I would unclock the system and see where that leads too
