Differential Throttle?

Postby Mattace64 » Tue Feb 10, 2009 1:58 am

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the commercial jets use differential throttle to steer on the ground.  Is there any way of doing this in FSX?

Or maybe if there was a way to disable the rudder on the ground, since I find it annoying to see it moving to steer?

I'm being picky...

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I use a combination of throttles, nose gear steering and differential brakes to move around on the tarmac. This is nearly impossible to do without pedals and a separate thottle quadrant.

You can not disable the rudder while on the ground, however, it is modelled into a few PROJECT OPENSKY planes. The rudder works when the plane reaches a certain speed
