David Maltby VC10 C1K

David Maltby VC10 C1K

Postby expat » Tue Feb 10, 2009 6:52 am

I downloaded this from Davids own site http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/vickers_vc10.htm, followed the installation instructions. As it says, it is kept nice and simple, but no matter what I try, I cannot get it to appear in the aircraft selection window in FSX. In the FAQ, it states that he has made it FSX compatibly. Does anyone have any ideas, or experience with this particular model?

Thanks
Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Works fine in mine. You could try adding thumbnails, or checking the cfg.

Checking the config, could you be a bit more specific, I am not the most computer literate person in the world :'(

Thanks

Like if the texture, models and .air files correspond.

Matt. You probably need to download the separate Panel & Sound files. Paste the complete DMFS Shared Files folder from both downloads to your FSX\SimObjects\airplanes folder. The Panel & Sound CFG files of all the VC10 variants are aliased to find them there.

Alternatively you could paste the panel & sound files into their corresponding folders of your VC10. Note the 2 FX files included with the panel. These go to your FSX\Effects folder.
