Jet Engine Sounds

Hello mates,

Anyone knows where I can find jet engine sounds. I`m looking for something close to a MiG-17.

Saludos.

i have been using the sound file from the viper file. it works pretty good i think. i use it for single engine fighters. i also use the sound file from the f-14d tomcat for dual engine fighters. they both sound great :)

I'd say that the  viper sound, while great sounding... just isnt for the Mig. I dont know if there is a soundset for the Mig, but if you want something that would be correct for the time of the mig... get the F-86 from SectionF8. Not only is it a fantastic model to add to your collection, the sound is very good. You can find that Sabre here in the downloads section.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Hi

Do you mean this plane will work in FSX?
Thanks :)

Yes, it does work, and works beautifully! But you will have the usual vc glass problem as with many other FS9 to FSX aircraft. But there is a fix. A quick search here and you will find it.

Keep in mind though, that they are developing a true FSX version right now!

Thanks

Yeah, I knew they were suppose to make a FSX version. I'm downloading the plane and SP1 for it. I will find the glass fix.
I mean what the heck, if the FS9 version is working, I want to give it some hours before the official FSX version release. Then I can replace it with the new one.
