cant turn with AP on

When I have AP on,  it will maintain altitude, but it wont let me turn even tho i dont hve heading on.

Try clicking the heading set button on, then off again. Seems to work sometimes, depending on the plane.

Actually, it is the wing leveler that is automatically turned on when the autopilot is turned on.

If you want to permanently have the wing leveler not turn on when the autopilot is turned on, you'll need to edit each planes aircraft.cfg file and add these two lines in the autopilot section:

FS9-
Use_no_default_bank=1
Use_no_default_pitch=1

FSX-
default_pitch_mode=0
default_bank_mode=0

Or, just hit CTRL-V after turning the autopilot on. Or, if there is a wing leveler button or switch, toggle that.

ctrl+v sounds much easier... I'll have to remember that

I can't stand having to hit the HDG button twice to be able to turn manually  ;D
