well I for one enjoy the FSX default ATC

I just got FSX the other day, and after only a handful of flights, air traffic control has already done such amusing things as vectoring me at 3000 ft directly across the approach pattern at Newark as I was heading for La Guardia, informing me pretty much the very second that another airliner crossed about 200 feet in front of my nose at FL330 that there was "traffic at 1 o'clock", and after a particularly brutal crash in a 747 on final (while I was stupidly trying to figure out the ILS frequency and forgot that I didn't have the autopilot on), telling me to "please contact ground control".  Perhaps not quite "as real as it gets", but pretty funny, in my opinion....

The fun really starts when there's no wind and the tower clears you for landing on RWY8 while at the same time clearing someone for takeoff at RWY26 -- same runway in opposite direction.

aahh.. FSX ATC  ;D

I love how they make you hold your position while taxiing because of other traffic on the taxiway even though there's no one around... then they clear you after you start moving forward without permission  ;D

Its always fun when your about maybe 5nm away from the runway and lowering your landing gear and on a perfect approach and the ATC says follow the 747 or 757 on final and your like well where is it?

Then in a second you see it desending right above your airplane out of no where.

Thats what I love about FSX ATC and AI! :D...... :-X
