Airbus A340-300

Postby -Viper- » Mon Dec 29, 2008 1:09 am

I'm new to this place, just finding it maybe a week ago and I've already added 15 new airplanes including the Qantas A380. I recently downloaded and added the A340 but every time I go to take off, the darn thing doesn't rotate until 200 KIAS and nearly running off the longest of runways, even after holding the brakes until 100%+ power is reached. I haven't checked the specifications of the airplane but I doubt it is right at all.

My question is, has anyone else had any problems with this airplane? I love the plane itself but I hate this part of it. I don't know if it's the programming or what.

Any help is appreciated.

I usually have some fun trying to take off the 747-400 at some smaller airports. Here's my technique:

1. Flaps 30
2. Throttle the engines up to 100% before letting go of the brake.
3. Pitch up nose at about 160 KIAS.

What A340 do you have? If it is the Posky bird, take a look here;

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
