Trouble Re Installing

Postby freedomhays » Sun Dec 28, 2008 7:10 am

I removed FSX from my hard drive,  I think I removed all the leftover folders from hard drive,  even went into regedit and removed FSX folders there,  but when I try to install the screen still gives me just the two option,  repair or remove.  The remove doesn't work,  missing dll's.
Where else should I delete something to get the right install screen.
Thanks anyone,

Maybe try deleting all the program files folders if there are any left, go to control panel and look to see if FSX is still there, and try my documents with your FSX files.
Those are the only ones I can think of that you might get it to go away.
If none of those work maybe click repair?

There is a tool from Microsoft known as Windows Installer Clean Up Utility. Google and download it from microsoft. When you run it select any FSX entry from the list and once the program has done its thing you should be able to reinstall.
