the white cross in mouse look view is your assigned precision select cursor in windows. to change go to control panel, mouse, pointers, and find precision select. change it to a blank cursor. if you need a blank cursor file i posted one on simviation fsx-misc. extract the null.cur to your /windows/cursor/ folder and you can select it in the mouse pointers area. it works great except outside of fsx the precision select cursor will still be blank (ie: you won't see the cross when hovering over precision select areas. i have not found that to be a problem at all, but personal taste applies. i really didn't like seeing the white cross while flying so losing the precision select cursor outside of fsx was no loss and well worth it. of course, you can always change the cursor back when you are done flying.
