Loss Of Throttle Control With Addon Aircraft

I have experienced this more than twice: No throttle control on one engine. the moment of my control moves the the throttles on the throttle quadrant but the engine does not respond. On the Dash-8 the #2 engine goes to full throttle. I can shut it down and when I restart it the engine goes to full power again.
On the C130 # 3 engine would not throttle up. Restart resulted in the same effects as above on the Dash-8

Is your autopilot throttle controll on?

No I have checked that several times and I have full control of the other engine(s)
