info. missing after downloading texture

After downloading the "Cactus Jack" Texture on this site ,and inserting it into the Piper J-3 Folder, and inserting the documentation into the config file, I only have the Yellow j-3 on the main page of aircraft on FSX. Everything in the config folder looks correct, and was saved but now one default plane is missing and Cactus jack does not show either. Input Please. Thanks; Radialhead

Most likely cause is

1. Incorrect or duplicate [Fltsim.X] numbers (they need to be sequential)

OR

2. Duplicate title= lines (they must be unique)

Both items are in the aircraft.cfg file.

Could be something else such as the sim= line referring to an .air file you do not have - but I would double check the above first.

Since I'm always kind of looking for a new texture for the J-3, I Dled it and it installed

Hi, Yes ,everything went into the folders as instructed but still no texture. I'll retry later. and I did not notice the backwards graphic on the starboard side.  lol
