"COLD and Dark"

this may sound like a stupid question, but how do you set up a cold and dark engine start?

Turn everything off, then save flight, checking the box 'save flight as default'

Then load up a flight in whatever plane

Good morning!

For the FSX 747-400, I did this and even though I power on all 4 engines, the GPS and radio are still "off"... is there a way I can turn all this on? The lights and everything else works though!
