Dual Monitor Setup, help?

Postby AMDDDA » Sat Sep 13, 2008 4:15 pm

Well, I brought another monitor down from upstairs, and I want to use it in FSX SOLELY for instruments, yet, there is no option for me to do just that, I want my main 24 inch to be pure FS, and the 17 inch to be pure instruments and such.

Any help?  ;)

Hi Alexander,
I recently uploaded a package to the file library called panelmania_v01.zip which is intended for just the purpose you describe. You can read more about it here:

Hello,
Other solution : "undock" the 2D panel to the 2nd monitor.
I do it in "window mode"

I use the "undock" method to "pull" an instrument window off and onto a second monitor with no trouble.  You do have to set  up the dual monitor option in XP... otherwise the 2nd monitor will never operate...

I use this method for displaying thge GPS or Teamspeak etc...
