Painting in FSX?

Ok gents! I have been painting in FS9 for some time now and Im not bad, but for some reason I can't get my brain around FSX. I have looked thru lots of forums and Im still not sure what to do. What im trying to do is Paint the default 737-800 as the USN P-8 Poseidon, If someone would be willing to help me It would be very much   appeciated.  RAZ-978
