So... Aces should just add window dressing to each new version of MSFS ? Not dare to improve and add to it ?.
Anyone who had(or or got) adequate hardware has been enjoying a truly remarkable simulator.. a MUCH more enjoyable experience than FS9.
All of the crying was from people trying to run it on old, or sub-par hardware... and their emotional, determined effort to spread the misery..

...by all means, improve the Sim...
But do you really think that if the Aces team incorporated
all the requests quoted in this Forum, that the final release would be in any way, shape, or form....
....remotely playable?...

...

....

..!
I merely suggest taking care to incorporate various improvements which do not detract from the actual "playability" of the Sim!
By this time, from experience with FSX, I am pretty sure that the Aces Team already have a pretty good idea what will actually work, and wont work, in reality, for the next Sim..

...!
Just posting a super, fancy "Screen Shot" at 3 FPS on a Forum, is not what the Sim was meant for...
...flying "smoothness", with quality scenery, at reasonable settings, on "adequate" hardware is what it was designed for....

...!
I'm sure little Johnnies Dad does not expect to fork out for a Cray Supercomputer for him to play his favourite "flying" game...

...!
All my previous Sims just required a gradual, affordable, component upgrade now and again with each release, to improve the enjoyment of the game....
...not a total, hugely expensive rebuild each time to cope with the intricacy's of the next release...

...
Motherboard, Processor, Graphics Card, Power supply, etc, etc... $ $ $...

...!
Paul....G-BPLF... 8-)...!
P.S. I purchased FSX immediately the day it was released in England....the same with all my previous MS Flight Sims...

...!
....The weather's a bit rough up here...
Now dropping down to safer, sunnier, less hostile conditions...
