Maybe a stupid question?

I can't get the thrust reversers to work on any plane...manual says to hold down f2 key, but that does nothing. Can anyone help out??? Thank you in advance,

First try pressing F1 to idle the engines, then give the reversers a try. If theres even 5% throttle, reversers wont work.

Make sure the AP is off
