Spitful airlpane...

I downloaded the ww2 spitful aircraft off this website. I also downloaded the gunfiring modification and did everything to instal it correctly but the guns wont work, any help?

Downloaded, installed, it works for me.  

I'm runng Vista, no SP1 or 2, and no Acceleration pack.

You are using "O" or "L" to fire the guns?


Modified to add:

Also, check your "aircraft.cfg" file for the four lines under "[LIGHTS]" for the "guns" effects.

PS:  by adding those lines to certain aircraft with wing mounted guns, P-40, P-51, ... that gives them gun effects too.  Of course, no damage is done to anything.

ou should have the following lines under the [LIGHTS] section of the cfg file:

[color=#0000ff]//------------ Guns ----------------------uses strobe
light.14=2,

[BFMF]

The '.fx' files are in the 'Effects' folder, correct?

I believe so.  I'll have to dig up the download and see if that's part of the install (it probably is if it had an effects folder,)
