Flight attendants?

Postby tcco94 » Sun May 25, 2008 11:30 am

Ive seen on alot of videos where people can have the flight attendants talk while taxiing going through the seat belt prosedure and such like on a real aircraft. I dont really know how or where to search for it so if anyone can help.

Thanks  :D

For FS9, there's Project Opensky 737-800 version 2004.9.2

Image

If I remember correctly (and that's usually a stretch), it comes with a series of flight attendant/pilot announcements.

..see announcement switches in this pic...
There's a seperate add-on panel available as well, for the life of me though I can't remember the name or where to find it. Start at SimV search function, then maybe try googleing for it. No idea if the Opensky 737 is available for FSX though...

The set of 10 switches you see under the seat belt sign are the attendant/pilot recordings. Good luck in your search.. :)

Go here, 7th one down:

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004panels13.htm

or type FDSFX in the search.  It's listed for FS2004, but I use it in FSX, with no problems.

Well im trying to get the panel to work for my 737-800. I do what the word document says to do in the panel.cfg but its not working. When I click to change the aircraft all my 737's are gone. So I go back to my backup 737 panel that I had in the first place (not edited) and put it in the panel folder and take out the other one and the 737's then show up. :(

Any help?
Can you give me the panel.cfg that your using copy and paste it to me. :D

The 737-800 is disappearing from your 'Select Aircraft' window??

Are you renaming the new 'panel.cfg' file? This would cause the sim to classify the aircraft as AI, and remove it from the 'Select Aircraft' window.

Make sure the file name is 'panel.cfg' and that it is in the ..\B737_800\Panel\

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Thanks Dave :D!
That was the problem that the panel.cfg folder was named panel2.cfg.
Now my last problem is that all the sounds work, I have the icon on my cockpit but when I open it its all black around the buttons.  :-?

Can you help me (anyone who has this addon)

Thanks ;)

Sounds like you forgot to place the 'FDSFX.bmp' file from the download into the panel folder. (step 4 in the installation instructions)

Make sure after copying the gauge files to the gauge folder and starting the sim you accept (by clicking "Yes") the new gauges when FSX opens.
