Question Regarding Land Class and Terrian Mesh

Postby idahosurge » Mon May 19, 2008 7:43 am

Hello,

I am running FEX, UTX USA-Canada, ST NA (Land Class) and GEX, all have the latest updates available.  I was wondering if a terrian mesh would make any noticable improvement.  I was thinking about FSG NA.

Regards,

I think all FSGenesis products are well worth the money. They enhance the entire world significantly.

Do not expect a massive change to how things look... expect a change to the LANDSCAPE such as mountains, hills, valleys, gullys, etc

MESH does not change the textures or make a massive visual difference.. you notice mesh changes if you are like me and know the terrain shape of areas.. I use FSG and all the mesh for FSX they offer worldwide but I do so because I recognize the terrain changes... I also run mesh resolution at 10m too which is in line with FSG USA mesh

Thanks for the responses, I will probably give FSG a try, I do notice terrian differences in the areas that I am familar with.

I recently purchased UTX-USA, ST-NA, GEXn and FSG-NA and can't believe the difference the combination has made.  I also notice terrain and appreciate a good mesh and I've been very satisfied (so far) with FSG-NA.  I mostly fly mid-Atlantic and West Coast.  Well worth the money IMO.

Justin at FSGenesis is a great guy.  He answers all questions quickly and the software always plays well with FSX.  As much as I like FS Global X, I'm running FSG instead.  I Live in San Diego and it's very "hilly" and I see all the terrain mapped quite accurately.
