I have installed Milton Shupe's D18S in my FSX "Airplanes" folder and it works quite well .... very nice, and fixed the sounds, instruments and props with the fix apps. So a friend duplicated my exact D18 file structure (even copied the D18SVC folder and all it's sub-folders from my system to his system) running FSX and when you go into "Select Aircraft" on his system, it's not there. I have rechecked his files walking through it over the phone, and he's done it correctly as far as I can tell ... we are both using XP ... and all his other airplanes (including add-ons) work fine. As a test I copied and moved the same D18SVC folder on my working system to a second FSX install on another system at home using XP ... and it works just fine. I must be overlooking something basic here?? I did do a search on the forum but did not find anything. Any help appreciated ... :)
