Beeping, sounds like morse code

Hello,

I had this awhile back and then it stopped and now it is back and it is annoying.  I get this constant beeping that sounds like morse code, maybe in has something to do with a nav aid.  What is it and how do I make it stop?

You either have the "ident" button or knob on the navaid pulled or the "NAV1" or "NAV2" button on the comm panel is pressed (lighted).  Try turning either of those off.  You would use those to identify the navaid you were tuned to so you know you're going to the right place.
