Disable gradual transition in FSX?

Postby 777ER » Sun Mar 09, 2008 2:24 am

Everytime I'm in spot view and moving around the plane using the space bar and the mouse, it gives that gradual transition effect that FS9 had but could be disabled.

See the same thing in the VC & wing view...

I can't find anywhere in the display settings on how to disable that...where is it?

In spot view, press the 'A' key to cycle thru the rest of the 'outside views', which include LOCKED spot, fly-by and top down.

I don't use the shift>mouse movements, but rather have extra hats on my joy for panning and moving. No gradual transition' with that.

I don't know of any settings available for these. Possibly these can configured in the aircraft.cfg-[camera_definitions.x] or the cameras.cfg file, though I've never messed with them.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
