Ground service vehicules are killing the FPS

Hi all,

I have been doing some performance tests at KSEA for a while, trying to play with the sliders to get smooth performance.

Surprisingly, I recognized that the sliders that have a MAJOR impact on the FPS are those related to the AI traffic, and especially the ground vehicules. With my current settings, I can set the AI aircrafts (all) to the max, and if the ground vehicules are disabled I run a smooth 18-20 FPS.... however, if I set the ground vehicules even to the minium density, the FPS immediately drop to 13 FPS ! :o :o :o

Does anybody have any idea of what is causing such an impact ?

Yeah.  More ground vehicles means your processor and your video card have more things they need to be thinking about.  I know that sounds like a simple answer, but hey, it's the truth.
