Newb help:  Auto Pilot not working

Postby AH_Moggy » Sun Feb 10, 2008 7:10 pm

Howdy all:
I'm brand new to FS and have been having all kinds of problems getting FSX to work correctly.

Anyway, the current problem is the autopilot. Flying a Beechcraft Baron 58, the buttons on the AP do not function. I can manually toggle the AP on, along with the HDG & ALT buttons via keyboard commands, but the buttons on the AP itself, and most importantly the altitude adjustment section, do not work.

I'm flying FSX with SP1 installed.

(I have already done two complete uninstalls and clean installs).

Are you sure that your generators are on and that the battery is off?
There are two switches toward the lower right hand corner that need to be on.

Because the ignition system is a set of magnetos.. the engine(s) will run during complete electrical failure; battery, alternator/generator and all.
