Acceleration F-18 Radar

Does the radar in the acceleration F-18 disply the actual AI planes flying. I see dots on the radar, but I'm not sure if they are the actual AI planes or just dots to make the radar look real. If they are the AI planes, could someone tell me exactly how to read the radar? Thank you.

The radar is displayed on an MFD, and around the MFD are buttons (black, square buttons), and one of the buttons (I can't remember exactly off-hand) allows you to lock on to the returns, and when you do, it will tell you the direction, altitude, and speed of the target.

And yes...the radar shows the AI aircraft...  (and it's particularly fun to intercept a 737     )
