Service Packs Improve Game Performance?

Would the service packs for FSX improve the performance of the game at all? And improve glitches? Thanks.

Yes they should. Videocard drivers also. I tried FS-X a while ago and even at low resolution, without AA or AF it was a slideshow. Now I can set native, with AA and AF and quite playable.
