Im not sure if the aircraft i have downloaded are incompatable or not, but some of them work, u just cant see them in the select aircraft menu. and some just dont show up at all! let me try and explain better, I have a couple 757-200's by project opensky. when i go into that menu u cant select which one u want, but if u click on "DETAILS" u can. but just one of them i cant pick from the 2...hmm. those are the only ones that i can get to work. i have a few others from them and an airbus A319 by iDFG that wont show up at all. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I've used the opensky 757's with no problems.  I'm just a little confused though.  Are you saying that one of the 757 liveries shows up in the aircraft selection menu, but the other livery for the same model 757 does not?  If so, check to make sure you have the "show all variations" box checked.  If not, I think we might need more info.

I assume these are FS9 aircraft. They will probably have their panels aliased to default aircraft not included in FSX like the b737_400. If you're certain you installed them correctly open Panel.cfg of the offending aircraft in Notepad & point it to the FSX default B737_800 like this.

[fltsim]
alias=B737_800\panel

OR to the default Airbus like this

[fltsim]
alias=Airbus_A321\panel

The Sound.cfg might need similar treatment but won't prevent the aircraft being listed on the menu.

You might find this tute useful. http://www.simviation.com/fsxaircraftinstall.htm
