How to apply texture to models in FSX

I wonder if this is a Vista issue, but when I install any addon planes in FSX none of the textures work the models work fine, but they have no textures, this SUCKS!!! i amsarting to adapt to FS,but there are quit a few issues that I can't work out. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Are you adding the correct cfg entry? Check out a great little tutorial that was once written to help me out with adding texture sets to aircraft.
