New Aircraft Avail. For FSX

Postby LeFeaoux » Sat Dec 08, 2007 6:50 pm

I am not sure who is responsible for all the new aircraft that have become avail. for FSX on the Simviation site although I am sure that some of you had a hand in it. I just want to say thanks and, GREAT JOB!!! I have been waiting for a decent Phantom to come avail. for a VERY long time and now, there are at least 3. I also noticed a plethora of F-18 repaints for the acceleration package that have recently come avail. Cudos to all those responsible!

Ruh-roh Shraggy ... found a small issue w/the Phantom. Nice after-burner effects except for one thing ... it is always on. Does anyone here know a way I can fix that?

Some after burner effects are linked to the lights. Try hitting "L" to see if they disappear

Hmmm ... don't know why this was moved to THIS forum from the design forum. This message was a congratulatory post for those in the design forum so it seems to me that is where it belongs. Oh well ... :-?

Nope ... didn't work. Guess I am stuck with perpetual afterburners.  :-?

Apparently lights also control afterburners on this a/c.

I haven't tried it myself but that's what Mark Rooks, the guy who uploaded it, has told me.

There is probably an easy fix for this too.

Well, I tried ctrl-L and shift-L but neither affected the afterburners on the one I flew. The a/b were on even while the plane was at idle on the runway.
