DX10 to DX9

DX10 to DX9

:D  I am using Vista Premium and have installed FSX Acceleration.  I keep reading about setting FSX to run In DX9 mode.  How is this accomplished?  I have an ATI, PCI Express, 512mb, 1950 pro card.

It seems to me that your video card is not DX10 compliant.
In that case, the "enable DX10 preview" setting in the game will not be available.

You need at least a Nvidia 8800 or the ATI equivalent video card.

You need an 8000 series nVidia card or a 2000 or 3000 series (I think) ATI card to run DX10.  And Vista is not bad at all, check out this thread: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1195517198
