How is this "Clean new instalation?

Like in my previous post ,Im about to get Acceleration this evening  ,I see many issues among Users of acceleration Sp2 posted in this forum, as a result ,some of the experts here recomends a clean New instalation.what do they mean?

Is this mean an Activation ? to waste my 3rd and last chance?
Does acceleration comes like the old SP1 ,to Activate again?

would anybuddy please explain me ,If I get it , would I have to unistall FSX and then reinstall it without applying SP1? would it request me again an activation?

1. Simply install Acceleration. It will automatically install SP1 if needed, before it will install SP2.

2a. You have UNLIMITED ACTIVATIONS as long as you've made no significant hardware changes inbetween installs.

2b. You have THREE "new activations" if you've made significant hardware changes inbetween installs.

2c. You can RESET your "activation count" with a single phone call to MS Support.

I think this is the answer I been looking for in a long time, correct me If I'm wrong :MS detecs all my hardware's serial of each one of them saving by them in some sort of data base, Correct? I haven't make any change at all since I bought FSX, If I would change My CPU ,and HDDs they would consider that could be another machine,Fortuanly I haven't change anything   ,I activate the fisrt time, then I did has to  formated because of virus in my HDDs , and reinstall everything Including FSX wich I request a second activation ,in the same machine ,Now I can uninstall FSX(without erasing/formatting) and request it by a third time ,None of these hasn't never been count ,right?
This, If I undestood, would make perfect sense to me .. Could I have infinite activations in this same machine like this?

As long as you don't make a big hardware change you can install FSX as many times as you want to. If say an electrical spike takes out your motherboard, CPU and RAM and you have to replace it all then you will use up one of your activations. If you use up all three then you need to call Microsoft and get it reset. As long as you aren't doing this three times a week Microsoft will reset your activations no questions asked. If you are doing it three times a week then Microsoft might refuse to reset it. I can't think of any legitimate reason anyone would be making that kind of hardware changes that often so reactivation shouldn't be a problem for anyone who isn't trying to put one over on Microsoft. A lot of payware add ons have a similar process.

I forget which add on it was but I remember one guy on a forum complaining that the add on company canceled his key. The admin on the forum pointed out that their records showed the same add on was installed on three different hardware profiles in the first day after it was downloaded. They reset the key for the add on after the first request and then they showed the add on was installed on two more hardware profiles within a couple days. Needless to say they refused to reactivate the key after that which resulted in the complaint on the forum. It was obvious in this case that someone was sharing his key with others. As long as Microsoft doesn't see that kind of pattern you shouldn't have a problem.
