Missing Airplanes

Hello,

I am using FSX and I just noticed that my MD 83's do not show up as an aircraft to chose.  The MD 83's are one of the standard aircraft supplied with FSX so I do not think that they ever showed up as a choice.  All of the other standard aircraft seem to be there along with all of the aircraft that I have downloaded off of Simviation plus some payware aircraft that I have bought.  Does anyone know what I can check to see whey the MD 83's are not there?  The MD-83 folder is in the sim objects/airplanes/ folder along with all of the other FSX aircraft folders plus the folders for the freeware aircraft and payware aircraft that I have aquired.

Any help will be welcomed!
