I have a whole bunch of carriers in fs9 and about 30 or so aircraft that are modified for launching and arresting with the great RCBO package. Now it is time to do the same thing in fsx since the new RCBO version is available--it seems even better. There are instructions in the installation files for moving the carriers to different locations by using the file Bglcomp.exe with the files included in the carrier downloads. My question is how or where do I obtain the Bglcomp.exe files for both fs9 and fsx so that I can do this myself, or is it really only for those who are experts in scenery or design work and it is just not meant for my use?
Thanks ahead.
Thanks Paul,
I definitely will obtain and try out your suggestions. However, the Bglcomp.exe question would still be appreciated by anyone knowledgeable in this area--both for fs9 and fsx. For example, I would then be able to have a carrier task force with perhaps the Stennis or Waikato on the Mississippe River in Minneapolis, or on Lake Tahoe in California--or literally anywhere on Earth--and they could be either moving or stationary. From what little expertise I have in scenery additions, it seems Bglcomp.exe is the only possibility. Or am I really wrong on this and just looking for the impossible?
Thanks,
Tyle
Paul,
Nothing came up on fs-shipyards.org either by using your name or any other keywords that I tried. And I already have the Stennis and other carriers and ships which have the files necessary to relocate them. But perhaps I have to re-ask my question again. Does anybody know where I can get Bglcomp.exe for fs9 and for fsx (they are two different versions, right)? Where are they and how can I get them, because without them I am "dead in the water" (this pun is actually intended.)
Thanks,
Tyle
