DirectX question

FSX including FSX Steam version.

DirectX question

:D  I was checking my FSX cfg and noticed that there is a DirectX file in the folder.  How is that generated and placed there.  There's one in FS9 too but that is a DirectX.xml file.

:D  Thanks for the info.  I have DirectX10, it came with Vista but not the gamers version, and it copied into the FSX folder.  FS9 has DX9c because I upgraded from XP.  I was wondering if I deleted the file if it would regenerate or would I have to repair the install rather than re-install FSX.  The reason I'm asking is I accidently deleted it.  (I don't know how but sh** happens).  Also, if I repair FSX will I have to re-install sp1.
