ATC Headset errors

Postby richieboi » Wed Jul 11, 2007 11:05 am

Hi all,

Have been trying to set up my headset on Vista so that engine noises come through the speakers and ATC/Multiplayer voices come through my microphone headset

I know the process for doing it, i.e go to the sound page in control panel and split the two groups up

However, in Vista, it doesnt seem to have an Advanced tab like XP does. I can set the speakers up to do everything or the headset to do everything, but cant split the two up the way I want them to.

Any ideas? I'm presuming this is another Windows bug?

Thanks,

Rich

When I tried this it said that dual sound cards were needed.

I know about the dual sound cards and purchased a SoundBlaster dedicated card exactly for this purpose.

I have an onboard "RealTEK HD" sound card that came with my Packard Bell Vista machine and the SoundBlaster.

Both work fine, really good sound from the both, I just cant find this damn tab in Vista
