Gaining FPS

I was wondering, would freeing up hard drive space give FSX more frames per second?  :-?

No it wont. Defragging your harddrive may as it stops the heads thrashing about looking for progamme bits, increasing the size off the swapfile may and setting it a fixed size helps if its set up on a defragged drive for the same reason. If its set to auto adjust the swapfile can get fragmented and therefore become ineficient. What sytem specs do you have.
