You could use a bigger processor and a new video card. And another gig of ram wouldn't hurt

get something around 2.6GHz. shouldn't cost too much. another gig or RAM, and a new GPU. then you'll need to download the SP1 and it should work smoothly (that is, after you tweak the fsx.cfg file and set your sliders according to what your rig can handle)
